What is SKYRESTORE used for?
   
  To remove aged, cured polysulphide (PRC) and many other two part sealants.
     
What are SKYWIPES/SKYWASH used for?
   
    The removal of wet/tacky polysulphide (PRC) RTV/Glues/Petroleum Jelly and most jointing compounds including Skydroll.
     
Can SKYWASH be used as a 'degreaser'?
   
    Yes - (it's very good).
     
Can SKYWASH be used in 'Ultra Sound' procedures?
   
    It has been tested by 'Ultra Sound' leaders with excellent results.
     
Can SKYRESTORE be used in 'Ultra Sound' procedures?
   
    Yes - In specialized applications prior to NDT testing.
     
Is SKYWASH a replacement for MEK?
   
    No - Although tests show that some of the tasks involving MEK can be done using SKYWASH/SKYWIPES as an alternative, and of course its much safer.
     
Which sealant(s) will SKYRESTORE remove?
   
    The majority - some take slightly longer than others to remove (minutes, not hours).
     
What Aviation approvals do WASH/WIPES/RESTORE have?
   
    Rolls-Royce/MOD (NATO)/Raytheon/Bombardier BAe Systems(Airbus).
     
Will SKYRESTORE affect interfay joints?
   
    Not if used in accordance with manufacturers instructions - however no longer than 8 hours contact on interfay joint.
     
Will SKYRESTORE affect
re-adhesion?
   
    No - however all surfaces where RESTORE has been in contact must be treated at 'dirty' and cleaned in accordance with local procedures.
     
Are WASH/WIPES/RESTORE used for similar tasks outside the Aviation Industry?
   
    Yes - including Automotive; Maritime; Electrical and Engineering.
     
Are SKYWASH & SKYWIPES solvent based?
   
    No - both aqueous and classified as 'Non-Hazardous'
     
Is SKYRESTORE a solvent?
   
    Yes - Classified as 'Irritant'

Will SKYRESTORE affect aircraft paint?
   
    This depends on the type of paint in use. Most primers - no. However, it is best to trial your paint system before use.
